For gifts for yourself or others, a great place to find unique, pretty, and well-priced accessories is in museum gift shops.
I knew that, but also forgot.
Last week, I gave a Stop Stressing About Dressing presentation to a great group of women, and one brave man, at the Bruce Museum in Greenwich, CT.
I needed to be there at 8:30 on a Saturday morning, so my routine was a bit off.
While driving, I realized I forgot to put my earrings and ring on.
The person who was going to advise on what to wear and how to accessorize forgot her accessories!!!! Ugh, yikes, and 🤪.
But it was meant to be. Waiting for me was a rack full of beautiful scarves, bags, and tops, a table filled with pretty jewelry, and a beautifully curated gift shop where I was able to borrow a pair of earrings and rings so my outfit was complete. Whew!
Below are the earrings I purchased for myself in the Bruce Museum gift shop.
They are completely different than anything I own or have seen in traditional retail stores, and I love them!
