I remember the time when I had two distinctly different wardrobes; warm and cold weather with pretty much nothing in between.
Those days are long gone for me and I encourage you to try on my philosophy as the weather changes from warm to cool.
So many sleeveless tops and dresses can be ‘warmed’ up for when the temperature dips by simply adding a jacket or stylish cardigan, along with ankle or knee-hi boots, and you’re set.
Some dresses have room for a blouse underneath it, but caution is required, as if this is not done correctly, the final outcome may not look that great.
The photo above shows one option of not wearing stockings, but another choice is wearing textured or opaque hose.
BRRR. When it is brrr cold, go ahead and wear wooly clothes, turtlenecks, snow boots, parkas and whatever else you need to survive the elements, but for 45 degrees or higher, consider layering your clothes.
So go on into your closet and see what you can do with your layering pieces, and you may just discover how to wear the same dress or top every season.

Hi, I’m Scarlett … and I show women how to see themselves differently. I’ve been helping women feel great about how they look since I was 21 (and let’s not talk about how long ago that was).
