There must be something in my client’s water, as lately so many of them are sharing jewelry designers they’ve met and want me to meet as well.
It’s likely not the water but more that they know how much I love using jewelry often and creatively to make some killer outfits for them.
Today I’ll share the beautiful and affordable designs byAmy Kanarek.
Amy has allowed me to customize her designs for my clients, so I can pick out the perfect metal and stone colors for their features and clothes.
Details matter, and when you wear the right ones you’ve hit the Jackpot. Even a simple all-black outfit or t-shirt and jeans become a watch-out world one with a necklace and earrings that bring out your features that adds personality to your wardrobe.
NOTE: If you make a purchase on Amy Kanarek, tell her Scarlett sent you, and if you are a client of mine I’ll make customized suggestions for you. YOU know why the details matter.
So, when a brilliant businesswoman suggested I combine all of the above and offer a day of free tips to all, I said YES!!!

Since I am a personal shopper, who is always looking to save money, I know a deal when I see one and I love to share shopping tips with my clients and subscribers.
I also know when a sale, is anything but a deal.
I love to check out the clothes and shoes in the TJMaxx name brand section, called The Runway. Often TJMaxx has lots of brands that I see when shopping for my clients in stores and online. Occasionally I find a great deal, but mostly enjoy the hunt for hidden treasures in all of the stores’ departments.
Take a look at the price tags on these Giorgio Armani pants, I found on the clearance rack of The Runway department in my local TJMaxx. Do you see what I saw?
Looks like these $795 pants, marked down to $149.99. What a deal, right?
Now look at the original price tag from the store that had these pants before TJMaxx received them. That store had reduced them all the way down to $99. And still they didn’t sell? Makes one slightly suspicious, but I digress.
Be careful when shopping sales racks, and don’t get taken in by false deals.
“I had an upcoming conference with NO time nor desire to shop for a new wardrobe. I called Scarlett after reading her blog for many months and she saved the day. She came, spent a few hours with me going through my closet and helped me create a series of perfect outfits. The best part, at the conference a colleague complimented me and told me what I was wearing was a great look. Funny thing was, I had everything in my closet all along but had never added the boots, scarf and earrings”. –Cathi Nelson President l APPO
We all, well at least 99% of women, yearn for a smaller waistline. Many women are also tired of being frustrated with lackluster results from dieting and exercise. All we want is a smaller waistline, be a size 6, 5’7″ tall, have perky breasts, smooth skin, and hair that never needs coloring! Is that really too much to ask for?
Well, apparently it is too much to ask for, but that is where I come in. I know lots of ways to create the illusion of smaller waists, and make a woman look taller. However, there is nothing I can do about hair coloring. I am not that kind of stylist!
So watch my video to find out How To Make Your Waist Look Smaller, and learn a few of my styling tips.
“I’m the first one to tell people, when they compliment me on how I look, that I have a secret weapon: Wardrobe Stylist Scarlett Debease. I’ve worked with Scarlett for years now and recommend her heartily to family, friends and colleagues. She not only shops with me for beautiful pieces to add to my wardrobe, but she also comes to my home and coordinates the new purchases with the rest of my wardrobe, then photographs the outfits to create my own personal look-book. I NEVER have to think, “What will I wear today?” I simply consult my look-book and get dressed. I know I’ve saved time and money using Scarlett’s invaluable service.”

As a savvy and creative personal shopper, I help you save money when shopping for clothes and you can as well when you follow my shopping tips for women.
Do you find yourself buying the same thing over and over? Are you always buying black pants, even though you already have more than 3 pairs? Another pair of black shoes and/or handbag?
And really, how many white shirts do any of us really need? If you answered yes, then you are guilty of over spending money on your clothes and as a personal shopper, I can show you how to stop wasting money on clothes you probably don’t need.
Duplicates in your closet?
If you see duplicates in your closet, then you have spent money on items you really did not need and did not buy the clothes and accessories that would have truly expanded your wardrobe. As a personal shopper, I select clothes for my clients that are unlike what they already own, and will expand their abilities to create more outfits then they ever thought possible.
Many women tend to reach for the clothes they are familiar with when they go shopping. The trouble with that, is they then limit how many new outfits can be created with what they already own.
Next time you hit the stores, resist the urge to buy what you already own, and buy something you don’t!

Finally, the warmer weather is here, the daffodils are popping up and you too are ready to spring up and out with a new image.
So here are 4 instant makeover tips for you, that you can easily and without any expense, start implementing right now to update your looks.
#1. Wear your top out and not tucked into your waist. This will instantly make you appear thinner and taller and will also take a few years off your look.
#2. Change your hairstyle. Try bangs, change the side you part your hair, pull it back or wear your hair loose. Just try to wear it differently than you usually do, and next time you are due for a cut and or color, let the stylist make a suggestion rather than you telling him or her what you want. Hair grows back, so be open to experimenting a bit, and embrace change for a change.
#3. Don’t wear the same outfit over and over again. Instead of grabbing the same top and bottom that you always do, combine pieces that you normally don’t put together. Try wearing a nicer than ‘everyday’ top with your jeans, to update your look. or wearing another pair of shoes. And when you go shopping, DO NOT buy something you already have. Odds are you already have the black pants and white shirt! Right?
#4. Finally, the easiest and most effective wardrobe change that you can do, is to roll or push up your sleeves. This is one of the most important tips I give my clients, as by utilizing this simple styling tip, you will be amazed at what a difference it will make to your image.
Give all or any of these instant makeover tips a try, and let me know which are your favorite.

“I highly recommend hiring Scarlett! She helped me purge the out-of-date and unattractive clothes from my closet, showed me new ways to wear my existing clothes & accessories to highlight my face and figure, and emailed me almost 50 pictures that evening of all of the outfits she put together. In addition, Scarlett made a list of the items I needed to purchase and can be hired to shop with me to make sure I make the best decisions. No more wasting time and money buying the wrong clothing items. She was a pleasure to work with and I had a great time in the process.” Denise Baliotti

Than she went to my closet and created coordinated outfits including shoes and jewelry and photographed everything so I have a personal file of outfits I can wear. This really was exactly what I hear in my client’s dressing room and it takes place with every woman I take shopping. No exaggeration, no kidding!
As she entered the dressing room and saw it filled with clothes and accessories, my client’s eyes and mouth opened wide. After a few seconds of rapid eye blinking, she asked, “all this for me?”
“Of course,” I replied, and here are the pants you need, tops in your colors and those comfortable shoes I told you about.”
Looking slightly overwhelmed, she asks “What should I try on first?”
“Start with these pants and this top”, I said as I handed them to her, and began to step outside the room to give her privacy.
Right before I went thru the dressing room door, she looked at the top I handed her and proclaimed, “There is no way this is going to look good on me.”
“Try it on anyway”, I said. “You need to try on what I have brought in here, and although not everything will look great on you until you try it, you can’t really know what will flatter you once it is on your body”.
As I closed the door, she shrugged her shoulders and looked at me like I was crazy, and was quite confident she would HATE the top.
Thru the closed door I heard a gasp, and after asking “May I come in?”, she opened the door. She stood there smiling from ear to ear in awe, and exclaimed, “I love it”. “I just can’t believe it”. “I would NEVER have picked this out by myself”.
I smile proudly and thought to myself, “I love how this happens EVERY time I take a client shopping”.

“Before I worked with Scarlett, I bought random pieces of clothing and would go thru my closet everyday, trying hard to figure out what to wear. Now my closet is organized, thanks to Scarlett by color and filled with clothes from our shopping trip, that easily co-ordinate with each other. Picking out what to wear is now a joy. Thank you Scarlett!
