How To Shop In your Closet – Step 3

Does this style of clothing look familiar? Perhaps you even have a few pieces in your own closet? Have no fear, because you are not alone. Almost all of my wardrobe styling client’s have clothes from the 80’s and/or 90’s, and each one wonders if they are the only ones that do. As entertaining as the 80’s and 90’s were in terms of fashion, there truly are very few, if any, pieces that one should save and continue to wear other than for a theme party.

Pretty much all of your clothes should have been bought in a year starting with a 2, and those are the only pieces you should be wearing and have hanging in your closet.  I am not talking about wearable vintage pieces, but the things that are simply taking up space in your closet and drawers and not allowing you to clearly see what you have that is wearable and flattering for you to choose from when putting outfits together.

Take some time to pull out of your closet the clothes that are keeping you in the past. Not only do they age you unnecessarily, but they also keep you from seeing what you have and need.

Be sure to click on the video to learn: How To Make Your Waist Look Smaller

We all, well at least 99% of women, yearn for a smaller waistline. Many women are also tired of being frustrated with lackluster results from dieting and exercise. All we want is a smaller waistline, to be a size 6, 5’7″ tall, to have perky breasts, smooth skin, and hair that never needs coloring! Is that really too much to ask for?

Well, apparently it is too much to ask for, but that is where I come in. I know lots of ways to create the illusion of smaller waists and make a woman look taller. However, there is nothing I can do about hair coloring. I am not that kind of stylist!

So watch my video to find out How To Make Your Waist Look Smaller, and learn a few of my styling tips.

“I’m the first one to tell people, when they compliment me on how I look, that I have a secret weapon: Wardrobe Stylist Scarlett Debease. I’ve worked with Scarlett for years now and recommend her heartily to family, friends, and colleagues. She not only shops with me for beautiful pieces to add to my wardrobe, but she also comes to my home and coordinates the new purchases with the rest of my wardrobe, then photographs the outfits to create my own personal lookbook. I NEVER have to think, “What will I wear today?” I simply consult my lookbook and get dressed. I know I’ve saved time and money using Scarlett’s invaluable service.” Jane Pollak
